After 12 months of design, development and testing we are pleased to announce that the CPL Racing K Series Dog Transmission is now available for sale.

During the 2007 race season a stock transmission was lasting only four quarter mile passes or less in our high-powered race car, which prompted us to design our own gearbox completely from scratch.  Since fitment of the CPL dogbox our European record-holding race car has not suffered a single gearbox failure. 

In addition to benefiting from the increased strength, we have seen gear shift times reduced from an average of 0.35 sec to only 0.15 sec.

This transmission is built for high power turbo cars and designed to withstand up to 1000 horsepower.

The main features are:

1.       Gear teeth are wider than any other

2.       The design results in a shorter throw at the shift lever which allows for faster gearshifts

3.       Gear tooth design is the strongest available as a result of exacting tooth loading calculations
