Please place your order on-line, clean your VTC mechanism and ship to:

CPL Racing, Units 3 & 4 Regis Ind Est, Dorset Road, Sheerness, Kent, ME12 1LY  together with a printed copy of your on-line order acknowledgement - please write on the order acknowledgement the operating range you require (30, 35, 40 or 45 degrees) and your engine code.  We will adapt your VTC mechanism within 24-48 hours of receiving it and ship it straight back to you.

Product Description

When fitting aftermarket camshafts it is sometimes necessary to limit the amount of inlet camshaft advance due to the risk of valve to piston collision, or valve to valve collision. It is not sufficient to rely solely on the ECU to control inlet valve advance, as it is possible in some instances for the inlet camshaft to stray from the cam advance settings within the ECU. The CPL Racing VTC mechanism is the addition of a newly machined back-plate incorporating a positive mechanical stop machined within, this ensures that there is no possibility of the cam timing advancing past the desired maximum, and therefore eliminates the possibility of engine damage.

CPL Racing has designed a selection of alternate VTC mechanisms to suit a wide variety of camshaft profiles.

Available in the following operating ranges: -

30 degree

35 degree

40 degree

45 degree
