Here at CPL, our knowledge of nitrous oxide injection is second to none, with over 20 years experience in design, fitting and set-up of nitrous oxide systems.

We can supply and fit nitrous oxide kits, refill bottles, supply and fit progressive controllers, bottle heaters, guages, purge kits, remote bottle openers, bottle blankets, fuel pumps, etc.

For almost 20 years we have been using nitrous oxide in race applications.  In early 2003 we installed our first Dyno Dynamics chassis dynamometer, in order to ensure totally accurate set up of all our nitrous oxide installations. With the capacity of sampling many parameters of an engine at 5000 times per second our dyno allows us to set up a nitrous installation ensuring safety and maximum power. This facility is unequalled by any other tuning company within the UK.

Kits

At CPL Racing we are able to offer both Highpower Wizards of Nos, NOS and CPL Custom nitrous oxide kits.  All kits include the hardware required and can be either supplied for customer fitting, or fitted and set up by us on the dyno at a competitive rate. We can, of course, provide tailored advice as to which system is best for your particular application.


Accessories:

Maximiser Progressive Controller

This "state of the art" progressive controller can be programmed to control the power delivery of nitrous to the engine by the amount of nitrous flowed (20-100%), and also the timespan over which this happens. This gives a smoother power delivery thus preventing wheelspin and clutch slip, and also ensures the transmission and engine parts experience less shock compared to delivery in one hit. This is particularly useful when using larger doses of nitrous.

The unit also offers the following advanced features:

Minimax Progressive Controller:

The Minimax is a budget alternative to the Maximiser. It allows more to be gained from a regular one-hit nitrous system. A perfect example of this is an installation that we completed to a customers Mazda MX5. Initially we opted for a 30 bhp power increase and then increased this to 40 bhp, with no problems up to this point. We then increased the power to 50 bhp and noticed that the cars clutch was showing signs of slippage. With the installation of a Minimax controller we were able to increase the power level to 75 bhp with no signs of clutch slip whatsoever, this was due to the smooth power delivery we were able to achieve.

Bottle Heaters

Extensive testing has evidenced that fitting a bottle heater allows more consistent gains in bhp.  Although considered by other companies as an accessory to a nitrous system, at CPL Racing we consider it to be a necessity. This led us to develop our own bottle heater which features its own thermostatic cut out switches to maintain a constant bottle pressure.
