Here at CPL Racing we have always invested in the most advanced facilities, equipment and technology, and we offer a wide range of proven products and services.  We own four Honda vehicles which are used extensively for research and development solely by us, and also in partnership with the manufacturers that we work in closely with, such as Hondata, Jackson Racing, Clutchmasters and Quaife Engineering.  Having a collection of our own vehicles allows us to thoroughly test other manufacturers’ products for comparison and durability, and also enables us to design, fit and thoroughly test our own expanding range of CPL Racing products before we offer them for sale to our customers.

We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of Honda performance tuning , evidenced by our ability to consistently break records in the CPL Team cars.  With no statutory standards for dyno measurement, we appreciate it can be confusing to the customer as all makes of dyno measure power differently.  We took an alternative approach from the start, and purchased a dyno purely on its capabilities, accuracy and consistency of readings.  We also back up the readings from our dyno by demonstrating our services at the track by winning races and breaking records.

In 2006 we moved to a 4400 square foot workshop and built/installed the following:

-          An acoustically designed dyno cell of the highest specification, which maintains a stable testing environment by ensuring complete air renewal cycles at intervals of 10 times per minute.

-          State of the art equipment for engine-building

-          A high specification flow bench which allows measured airflow improvements on our ported cylinder heads

-          Welding and fabrication equipment

-          New Supertracker laser wheel alignment machine. 

To compliment the above we already had a two-wheel drive Dyno Dynamics dyno, full workshop facilities and a small machine shop. 

We are pleased to announce that continuing with our ethos of using the latest technology, with immediate effect we can now offer full machine shop facilities following purchase of a brand new Hurco CNC turning centre and Hurco CNC milling centre.  At CPL Racing we are not looking to duplicate or copy high quality products that are already on the market, instead we will continue to design performance products using our knowledge of Hondas and technical engineering background.  An example of this is the Civic Type R FN2 race manifold which was the first race manifold available on the market.  We are constantly working on designing and expanding an innovative range of CPL Racing high quality products.  A link to the list of CPL Racing products already available can be found here  http://www.cplracing.co.uk/index.php?id=50

In addition to our automated machine shop we have recently had a purpose-designed engine-building room built in our workshop which has the following features:

-          Fully stocked with high quality measuring equipment within 0.001mm degree of accuracy

-          Air pre-filter/purification system {92% efficiency at 5 microns, HEPA filter 99.995% efficient @ MPPS (EN1822 Class H14)}

-          Temperature controlled (maintained at 21 degrees celcius at all times)

-          Engine component balancing to 0.1 gram

At the same time we have upgraded our office and waiting facilities to provide a more comfortable environment for our team and customers.  Our off-site warehouse continues to expand both with CPL Racing and other high quality manufacturers products to ensure that we always have in stock the most popular items for your performance vehicle.
